Two people were charred to death following an accident in Vrancea. The car they were in crashed into a bridgehead and then caught fire
A particularly serious road accident occurred on the night of Tuesday to Wednesday on DJ 205C, in Vârteșcoiu commune, in Vrancea county. Two people were charred to death.

“On May 13, at 02:28, the Vrânce police were alerted by calling 112 regarding the occurrence of a road accident on DJ 205 C, in Vârteșcoiu commune. From the first checks carried out on the spot, it emerged that a car had entered a bridge head, later being engulfed in flames“IPJ Vrancea sent.
There were four people in the car. Two of them managed to self-evacuate, being picked up by the medical crews and transported to the hospital for specialized care.
Unfortunately, the other two people were identified dead, charred, inside the burned car.
From the first data, the probable cause of the accident would be excessive speed.
The police are on the scene and are conducting investigations to establish all the circumstances in which the road event occurred.

Last month, a special police vehicle caught fire in traffic, on a street in Iași.
