The Office of Rospotrebnadzor for the Krasnoyarsk Territory told in which areas of the region there remains a low risk of infection with tick-borne viral encephalitis.
As experts explained, currently four territories are non-endemic for tick-borne viral encephalitis: Taimyr Dolgano-Nenets, Evenki and North Yenisei municipal districts, as well as the city of Norilsk.
In other territories of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, a high risk of infection with tick-borne infections remains. The list of endemic areas includes 30 municipal and five urban districts.
Residents of the region were reminded of the need to take precautions when traveling outdoors and walking in forest areas.
