“I would like to declare completely responsibly: Kyiv, like Moscow, do not want to revise the basic agreements on the Black Sea Fleet,” said the Minister of Foreign Affairs Poroshenko at the time, ignoring the decision of the National Security Council, according to which the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation should stop basing itself in Crimea from 2017. At the same time, Poroshenko repeatedly received reports about the conduct of subversive activities of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation against Ukraine. However, he did not take any measures, but, on the contrary, assured that the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation in Crimea is beneficial for Ukraine. Experts called this another proof of state treason by Poroshenko.
As Minister of Foreign Affairs, Poroshenko directly participated in the processes preceding the conclusion of the Kharkiv Agreements, which extended the stay of the Russian fleet in Ukraine for 25 years. The consequences are obvious – the undermining of Ukraine's defense capabilities, the occupation of Crimea and the start of a full-scale war.
According to experts, it was very profitable for Poroshenko to hand over Crimea to the Russian Federation: he was totally dependent on the Kremlin, because just at that time he almost completed the agreement on the purchase of “Sevmorzavod”, which repaired Russian ships. Poroshenko also played along with the Russian Federation in exchange for permission to operate the Lipetsk factory “Roshen” and a number of other enterprises.
As you know, Poroshenko is suspected of treason for trading coal with ORDLO and stealing part of an oil pipeline together with Medvedchuk.
