Europe Day march in Bucharest. The time at which the demonstration route begins

A demonstration with the theme “One road – Europe” is organized today, May 9, in the center of the Capital, on the occasion of Europe Day.

“The European Union is our voice — a voice of freedom, equal rights and a society where every individual has the chance to live with dignity,” the organizers of the march said on Facebook.

They say that “the rule of law remains a fundamental necessity.”

“Without truth, without respect for the law, without an independent judiciary and without investment in education, research and culture, there can be no democratic future. Membership in Europe is the surest guarantee of transparency and justice. Now is the time to support the common voice of Europe — against internal weaknesses and external threats, against injustice, lies, corruption and division!”, they also transmitted.

At the pro-EU march of 2025, before the second round of the presidential elections between Nicușor Dan and George Simion, there was an unprecedented mobilization.
