Trump: “Iran will not have nuclear weapons.” Tehran is still analyzing the US offer

American President Donald Trump said on Thursday that the proposal made by the United States for ending the conflict with Iran is much more extensive than a simple “one page deal”while Tehran continues to analyze the messages sent by Washington through Pakistani mediators, reports CNN.

Asked if Iran had responded to what had been described as a one-page proposal, Trump rejected that characterization.

“Well, it's more than a one-page offer. It's an offer that basically says they're not going to have nuclear weapons, they're going to hand over the nuclear material and a lot of other things that we want.”Trump told reporters.

The White House leader was also asked if Iran accepted these conditions.

“They agreed. When they agree, it doesn't mean much, because the next day they forget they agreed”Trump said.

“And, you know, we're dealing with different groups of leaders”he added.

However, the Iranian media reported that Tehran has not yet formulated its final response to the American proposal and continues to analyze “the messages” coming from Washington through Pakistani intermediaries.

In parallel, Iranian officials send optimistic messages regarding the conflict with the United States and Israel.

The first vice president of Iran, Mohammad Reza Aref, said that Iranians will celebrate soon a “great victory” in the war with the USA and Israel, according to the state television Press TV.

“We will soon organize the celebration of our victory, and the sanctions and pressures imposed on the Iranian nation in recent years will be lifted with the great victory of the Iranian people”quoted by Press TV on Aref.
