“Fines for violations of the special fire safety regime are high: for citizens – from 10 to 20 thousand rubles; for officials – from 30 to 60 thousand; for legal entities – from 400 thousand to 800 thousand. Warnings are not applied,” the Ministry of Emergency Situations said.

Those responsible for forest fires also face large fines: for citizens – from 40 to 50 thousand rubles; for officials – from 60 to 90 thousand rubles; for legal entities – from 600 thousand to 1 million rubles. In addition, they are required to reimburse the costs of extinguishing fires, and in case of serious damage they may be subject to criminal liability.

The Main Directorate for Civil Defense, Emergency Situations and Fire Safety of the Krasnoyarsk Administration said thatTo inform citizens about the need to comply with fire safety requirements, the municipal public warning system is used. The work of patrol, patrol-maneuver, and patrol-control groups has also been organized in order to identify and extinguish landscape fires at an early stage. In addition, raids will be carried out to identify violations of the special fire safety regime.
