The postponement of the date (originally March 31) is a nod to farmers who, due to difficult weather conditions or the lack of available construction teams, did not manage to complete the investment. This is a critical moment because after June 1, funds from the National Reconstruction Plan (KPO) will no longer be available for this purpose.
How and where to submit an application?
The Ministry of Agriculture emphasizes that the entire procedure is carried out digitally. Documents should only be submitted by Electronic Services Platform (PUE) ARiMR.
Meeting the deadline is crucial not only to receive reimbursement, but also to settle the entire investment in accordance with EU requirements.
Scale of operations: millions of square meters
The roof replacement program is very popular and is really changing the landscape of the Polish countryside. The statistics so far are impressive. 16.4 million square meters of dangerous coverings have already been removed, and a total of 246,000 meters have disappeared from farms. tons of asbestos.

Why does asbestos need to go?
Eternit, widely used in the last century, is a ticking biological bomb. As the Chief Sanitary Inspectorate warns, asbestos has a strong carcinogenic effect. Although an intact roof does not pose a direct threat, the situation changes dramatically when the material corrodes, but also when the panels are cut, crushed or broken.
Microscopic fibers are then released into the atmosphere, which, when inhaled, settle in the lungs, leading to severe cancer.
Poland without asbestos. The date has been missed
The current KPO program is an important step towards completely cleansing the country. In accordance with the adopted schedules, all products containing asbestos must be removed from the territory of Poland by the end of 2032.
