The net profit of the Bank Millennium group in the second quarter of 2025 increased to PLN 331.5 million PLN 228.5 million a year earlier – the bank informed in the report. The net profit turned out to be 26 percent. Above expectations, PAP Biznes consensus assumed PLN 262.8 million.
The expectations of eight brokerage offices regarding the bank's net profit in the second quarter of 2025 ranged from PLN 238 million to PLN 334 million.
In half of 2025, net profit amounted to PLN 510.7 million, while a year earlier it was at the level of PLN 356.9 million.
The bank's interest result in the second quarter amounted to PLN 1,448.3 million and was in line with expectations, the consensus of PAP amounted to PLN 1,442.4 million. The result from the commission in turn amounted to PLN 188.1 million and was also consistent with the consensus (PLN 186.8 million).
The balance of reserves (without reserves for disputes due to foreign currency mortgage loans) was positive in the second quarter and amounted to PLN 6.1 million. Analysts surveyed by PAP Biznes expected minus PLN 3.7 million (establishing net reserves).
Total costs amounted to PLN 602 million and were 7 percent. higher than expectations (PLN 561.6 million).
