️Krasnoyarsk traffic police inspectors brought to justice the driver of a Daewoo Nexia car, who ignored the red traffic light and drove through a busy pedestrian crossing when people were crossing the road.
The man grossly violated traffic rules on May 6 on Kalinin Street, 47a, the moment was caught on surveillance cameras. The video appeared on social networks, the police noticed it and identified the driver. He turned out to be a 41-year-old local resident.
When communicating with the inspector, the man admitted his guilt, repented of his actions and apologized.
“As it turned out, this driver had already been brought to administrative responsibility for driving through a prohibitory traffic light signal over the past year, in connection with this, material was collected for a repeated violation under Part 3 of Art. 12.12 Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation. The sanction of this article provides for a fine of 7,500 rubles or deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for a period of 4 to 6 months,” the traffic police said.
