A resident of Labytnanga in the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug put up for sale four hundred-ruble banknotes issued for the Olympics in Sochi and the World Cup in Russia. He asks for 3.5 million rubles for the entire set.
According to Sever-Press, the advertisement on the popular website states that the banknotes are new, have not been in circulation and have no creases. The seller is ready to discuss the price and allows bargaining.
The circulation of the 2014 Olympic hundred-ruble notes was 20 million copies. 400 thousand more banknotes dedicated to the 2018 World Cup were issued. Despite this, the owner values his lot at millions of rubles.
