And the DDB program is dedicated to Dinamo's new logo: “A ridiculous product!”

The DDB program, the voice of the supporters-shareholders from Dinamoissued a statement categorically rejecting it the new visual identity of the club. Although fans agree that a rebranding is necessary, they accuse management of a lack of transparency. Andrei Nicolescu, the president of the club, lobbied hard for this logo in the last two days.

On Monday, the club management presented the new logo that should mark the transition to a new era, but the reaction of the supporters was categorical.

According to the internal polls carried out by DDB, 85% of the members of the program reject the new emblem, considering it totally inappropriate for the history and coat of arms of the club from Ștefan cel Mare.

The DDB program rejects Dinamo's new logo: “Lack of transparency, consultation and coherence”

The message of the fans is the following: it is not the need for change that is contested, but the manner in which the final form of the logo was arrived at.

DDB charge that the decision was taken without real consultation with those who kept the club alive during the darkest moments of its existence.

The DDB program, as the voice of the supporters of Dynamo shareholders, firmly rejects the new logo of the Dinamo club, presented on Monday, as well as the non-transparent way in which it was designed. The results of internal polls, conducted on DDB regional and international groups, confirm this near-universal opposition: around 85% of members do not accept either the new badge or the process by which it was arrived at. At the same time, almost 80% of the respondents believe that a rebranding is necessary to leave behind the difficult past of the club and even necessary to fulfill the licensing conditions for the European cups – but not in this form and not through a process like the current one.

The need to redo the club emblem is real, and Dynamo supporters do not dispute this. The essential difference lies in the manner in which the change is effected. Unfortunately, the current rebranding process has lacked transparency, real consultation and coherence. A decision of such importance – the coat of arms under which the team fights and which represents the pride of the supporters – cannot be taken without the involvement of those who saved the club from extinction and who have always supported it by attending matches, at home or away (regardless of the league) and who contribute to the budget now by purchasing t-shirts, season tickets, scarves and other materials with the club's emblem.
Proceeding otherwise, those who always kept Dinamo alive were ignored, generating frustration and an almost unanimous opposition.
Lack of transparency: The new logo was chosen behind the scenes, without open communication and without supporters being properly informed or significantly involved along the way.

Lack of consultation: The Dynamo community – the one that represents the very essence of the Dinamo club and which, through the DDB Program, has always demonstrated unconditional support – has been marginalized in this process. Neither the rank-and-file, nor the supporters' groups, and the dynamoist breath in general, had the opportunity to express their opinion on the direction of the new logo in an organized and decent way.

Lack of coherence: The final result imposed is completely incompatible with the identity and tradition of Dinamo and with the pride of the supporters in front of any opponent. We understand that rebranding should not mean a brutal break from the club's beloved symbols, but an assumed evolution, with meaning and continuity, not a derisive product as an image and force of representation.

The official position of the Only Dinamo Bucharest Program (DDB) is clear: we support the modernization of Dinamo's identity and we want it to be done correctly, transparently and together with the supporters, so that the result is an emblem that truly represents us. Changing the logo can and should be a moment of unity, not division. Unfortunately, the proposed version and the way it was imposed achieved the exact opposite – dissatisfaction, opposition and even resentment among fans.

It remains to be seen if Dinamo officials will take a step back following this warning or if the new logo will be imposed despite the hostility shown by the hard core of the fans.

In the last few hours, both Peluza Cătălin Hîldan and Peluza Sud have publicly expressed their opposition to the club's new logo.
