Extraordinary meeting of the Government, just before the vote on the no-confidence motion

The government meets on Tuesday, at 9:30 a.m., in an extraordinary meeting in a hybrid format, according to an announcement made by the Press Office of the Executive. The meeting was convened an hour and a half before the plenary session of the Parliament, in which the AUR-PSD censure motion will be debated and voted on.
The subject of the meeting is an OUG initiated by the Ministry of Agriculture for the fulfillment of a PNRR milestone, but it is possible that other projects will also be on the agenda, the communication team of the Executive reported.
Also on the agenda is the granting of teaching career bonuses for teaching and auxiliary teaching staff, “as well as a professional career bonus for non-teaching staff in state education, supported by non-reimbursable external funds, as well as for the establishment of regulations for the management of the Education and Employment Program 2021-2027”.
The plenary session of the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate, where the fate of the Cabinet headed by Ilie Bolojan will be decided, meets at 11.00. While the social democrats are convinced that the no-confidence motion will pass, even with a large score, the liberals say they are “still” playing.
