In the village of Ovsyanka, police detained a man suspected of a robbery at a store. The Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the region spoke about this.
The incident was reported to the duty station. The operatives who arrived at the scene found out that an unknown person, armed with a knife, threatened the customer with violence and demanded that the seller give him two bottles of beer and a pack of cigarettes. Having received what he wanted, the man disappeared.

During operational search activities, criminal investigation officers established the identity and location of the suspect. He turned out to be a previously convicted 43-year-old local resident. The attacker was detained.
A criminal case was opened against the man under Part 2 of Art. 162 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (robbery). Now he faces up to 10 years in prison.
The defendant is currently in custody and the investigation continues.
