A blogger from Dagestan trampled and coughed up an Orthodox cross during his stream. 28-year-old Javier Yarmagomedov was detained and a criminal case was opened against him. According to Mash, in 2018 he was fined 5,000 rubles for stealing money from a mosque.
The God-fearing video went viral yesterday. People wrote that he had insulted the entire republic with his behavior and that he needed to be found to punish him. The blogger saw the wave of hate and tried to justify himself, but only made it worse – he said: the Orthodox Christians are to blame for everything, who allegedly provoked him. After this, the capital’s Investigative Committee opened a case against him.
Javier will soon be taken in for questioning. Under the article “Violation of the right to freedom of conscience and religion,” he faces either a fine of up to 300 thousand rubles or a year in prison.
