Rudy Giuliani in hospital in critical condition

As Giuliani's spokesman, Ted Goodman, said, quoted by the New York Times, the former mayor of New York “remains in critical but stable condition.” He asked for prayers for the politician, but did not explain the reason why he was in the hospital.
The same information was provided by US President Donald Trump.
“Our great Rudy Giuliani, a True Warrior and DEFINITELY the Best Mayor in the History of New York, was hospitalized and in critical condition. What a tragedy that he was treated so badly by radical left wing lunatics, Democrats – AND HE WAS RIGHT ABOUT EVERYTHING! They cheated in the election, made up hundreds of stories, did everything possible to destroy our Nation, and now look at Rudy. How sad!” Trump wrote in a post on Truth Social.
Giuliani was mayor of New York during the September 11 attacks, then unsuccessfully ran for the Republican nomination for president, and during Trump's first term he was his personal lawyer, involved in, among others, in attempts to invalidate the results of the 2020 elections. The lawsuits brought against him for this reason forced him to declare bankruptcy.
