Congestion on Valea Prahova at the end of the mini-holiday / Carambol with seven cars on the A3

Road traffic on DN 1, in Prahova county, is intense on Sunday, the last day of the May 1 mini-holiday.
In the area of the Azuga and Bușteni resorts, the congestion on the direction to Bucharest starts from the border with Brașov County, stated the Brașov County Police Inspectorate, according to Agerpres.
Also towards the Capital, in the town of Cormanic, traffic is also moving with increased intensity.
There are increased values of road traffic also on the West Belt of the Ploiești municipality, in the area of the intersection with DJ 129G (Strejnicu).
On the A3, in the area of kilometer 48 of the direction of travel towards Bucharest, there was a collision in which seven cars were involved, announced the Infotraffic Center of the Romanian Police.

In a Facebook post on Sunday, the Ministry of Internal Affairs urged drivers to drive responsibly and reminded them of “a few essential rules”:
- Plan your route ahead of time and consider alternative routes;
- Adapt your speed to road conditions;
- Keep calm in traffic and drive preventively;
- Do not drive under the influence of alcohol or prohibited substances;
- Follow the directions of the traffic police.
