Como and Napoli drew in the 35th round of Serie A, score 0-0, which simplifies Inter's road to the title: Cristi Chivu's team need only one point on Sunday, at home to Parma, to become champions.
No matter what Napoli and AC Milan did in this round, Inter knew that a success with Parma would make them champions of Italy.
But the result registered tonight by Napoli, 0-0 in Como, simplifies his path to the trophy. With De Bruyne, McTominay and Lobotka in the middle, Hojlund in attack and Politano and Miguel Gutierrez on the flanks, Napoli produced only one shot on Butez's goal.
Como was the more dangerous team, 5-1 in square shots, 16-8 in chances, 2-1 in high scoring chances and a superior xG, but couldn't score either.
Napoli, confused by Como in Serie A: a draw on Sunday makes Inter champion!
The point against Cesc Fabregas' side takes Napoli to 70. Should they win their remaining 3 games this season, the Neapolitans would reach 79, which is the current level of leaders Inter.
That means Inter will need just one point on Sunday night at home to Parma to become mathematically champions with 3 legs to go.
