According to GSP.ro information, the preliminary diagnosis in the case of Alexandru Gîț (28 years old) is a devastating one: tibia and fibula fracture, an injury that will keep him away from the field at least until the end of this year.
What happened? With the score 2-1 for the hosts, the stadium fell silent in the 90th minute, when a duel for the ball in the Ilfoveni box turned into a sporting drama.
Răzvan Gunie (27 years old), the midfielder of Oradea, had an entry on Alexandru Gîț (28 years old), leaving the right defender of Voluntari lying on the lawn, in agony.

Immediately, the players of both formations put their hands on their heads, being visibly affected by the injury suffered by the defender. After a few seconds of hesitation, the “central” Adrian Cojocaru showed the red card to Gunie.
Florin Pîrvu's students went angrily to demand an account from Gunie. The moment took on tragicomic accents when the ambulance entered the difficult terrain.
Because of the rain, the ambulance had problems moving through the soft grass, requiring the joint intervention of the footballers and the staff to push it to the place where Gîț was receiving first aid.
The game was stopped for nine minutes, during which the doctors tried to stabilize the footballer's leg. Then two more minutes were played and Cojocaru blew the final whistle.
FCSB offers to help Gîț with his recovery
Present in the Prima Sport studio at the end of the game, FCSB CA president Mihai Stoica has already announced that the champion team offers to help Gîț with his recovery:
“The recovery period should be done with us, with Ovidiu Kurti! Valentin Țicu was there, and he had a very serious injury, Dragoș Iancu was there, and I saw him with an injury of this kind, double fracture, probably this kind is also at Gîț, we are waiting for him to come to us. There were a few seconds left and the match was over and now this boy is taking a break… you can't even look at it”.
Voluntari prevailed 2-1 and climbed to second place, at least until the Sepsi team's match with Corvinul on Saturday, May 2.
