Marian Huja wants to stay at CFR Cluj from the next season as well: “It's an interesting project for me”

The offer from CFR, from the winter, made the most sense and I didn't have to think too much. Yes, I would like to play in Cluj next season as well, it's an interesting project for mesaid Marian Huja, according to sport.ro.

The central defender of CFR, with 8 appearances ticked this season, still hopes for the title.

“Yes, we're still hoping for the title. Everyone knows it's possible, but the main goal at the moment is a top three finish.

If we win the title, it would be a first trophy for me, it would be something special. I came to help the team, but like I said, top 3 is the main goal. The experience at CFR is very good so far. I have settled well in the team, I like the city a lot and I feel good here.

It's my first time playing the play-off, so it's a different experience for me. When we arrived, no one expected us to be where we are. I feel good, I feel that I have evolved since I arrived and we will see what will happen in the summer”.

At the end of June last year, Pogon Szczecin announced the transfer of Marian Huja from Petrolul Ploiești, in exchange for approximately 200,000 euros. For Petrol, Huja played 127 matches, scored 8 goals and provided 3 decisive assists, being one of the team's important players on the way to promotion to the Superliga.
