Nicușor Dan participates in the Business Forum of the Three Seas Initiative, together with global leaders
President Nicusor Dan is participating on Wednesday, in Croatia, in a special session of the Business Forum within the Three Seas Initiative (I3M), where he is present in the context of the summit dedicated to this regional platform.

According to the Presidential Administration, the head of state takes part in the Leaders' Panel, together with representatives of the business and financial environment from the region, but also from the USA, Japan, South Korea and Canada. The forum is also attended by important international financial institutions, such as the EBRD, the Inter-American Development Bank or investment institutions from the US and Japan. The event is seen as a key platform for attracting investment, especially in the energy sector.
The forum brings together more than 1,200 participants from 45 countries, including 174 official entities and more than 700 companies and financial institutions. The Presidential Administration emphasizes that the large presence of Romanian companies reflects the increased interest of the private sector in regional projects, according to Agerpres.
The Three Seas Initiative is a presidential cooperation format that brings together the EU states located between the Adriatic, Baltic and Black Seas. From 2023, Greece joined as the 13th member, after the Bucharest summit.
The objective of the platform is to reduce development gaps in the EU through interconnection projects in areas such as energy, transport and digitalization, but also by strengthening economic cooperation and transatlantic relations.
