The Russians showed ways to deal with too cold air conditioners in trains
If the air conditioner is working in the coupe, then it blows cold air like an Arctic hurricane onto the passenger lying on the top bunk.
The air conditioner in modern carriages does not look like the device we are used to in an apartment, but is a square or rectangle in the ceiling with round holes for ventilation.
The Russians shared ways to deal with too cold air:
— If the air conditioner is rectangular-flat, then you need to roll up a towel or newspaper and carefully place it in the cracks, redistributing the flow of icy air in the other direction from the passenger;
— If the air conditioner is located at the top in the form of a “square” with ventilation, then passengers use newspaper and tape, leaving a small space for air flow to circulate in the middle of the compartment. Thus, cold air flows into the compartment, but not too much.
