New ZUS announcement. They warn against scammers. They want PLN 800

“An elderly man contacted the Social Insurance Institution. The senior received a phone call from a person who pretended to be an employee of ZUS. The fraudster persuaded the man to join the 'pension program' and thus increase his pension. The fee for this service was PLN 800,” we read in the new ZUS announcement.

The man later received two text messages confirming his registration in the program and a payment reminder. ZUS reminds that only those customers who have an eZUS account and have chosen this method of contact are contacted electronically or via SMS.
