In the first three months of 2026, the Boguchanskaya HPP produced and supplied consumers with 4 billion 281 million kWh of environmentally friendly energy, which is 1.56% more than in the same period in 2025.
The most productive month was March, when the station generated 1 billion 485.6 million kWh. Since the launch of the first units, the fifth largest hydroelectric power station in Russia has already transferred more than 200.6 billion kWh to the country’s energy system.
“The first quarter is the peak of the heating season, the busiest and most important period of the year for all energy workers, the time of maximum load for the energy system. Thanks to the professionalism of the station’s personnel, timely and high-quality preparation of equipment in 2025, Boguchanskaya HPP successfully completed all the tasks of the Joint Dispatch Office of Siberia for energy supplies,” noted Vladislav Kobyakov, General Director of Boguchanskaya HPP JSC.
At the beginning of 2026, severe frosts set in in many areas of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, which significantly increased the demand for electricity from industrial enterprises and residents of the region. In the Kezhemsky municipal district, where the Boguchanskaya hydroelectric power station was built, the air temperature dropped below −40 degrees Celsius for long periods.
Despite the difficult weather conditions, the station personnel promptly began implementing the program of capital and current repairs and are completing preparations for the upcoming flood and fire hazard periods.
Based on the results of the past quarter, Boguchanskaya HPP JSC allocated 3 billion 753.9 million rubles to budgets of all levels and extra-budgetary funds. More than 2.29 billion rubles were allocated to the federal budget, which is 52 million more than a year earlier. The hydroelectric power station transferred more than 1.37 billion rubles to the treasury of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. Payments to the municipal budget in the form of land rent increased by 2% and exceeded 4.2 million rubles.
