Deep strikes at refineries and the destruction of more than 30 thousand invaders per month. Madyar spoke about his strategy

Today, the strategy of the Armed Forces of Unmanned Systems of the Armed Forces is based on long-range strikes on Russian oil refining infrastructure and the destruction of more personnel than the aggressor country Russia can mobilize. SBS commander Robert Brovdi, call sign Madyar, spoke about this in an interview with the BBC, which was published on April 27.

“We are like a red rag for the enemy. Because we transfer the war to their territory so that they also feel it. 1,500–2,000 km deep into Russian territory is no longer a “peaceful rear.” The freedom-loving Ukrainian “bird” flies where and when it wants. [Нелегитимный президент РФ Владимир] Putin extracts natural resources and converts them into “blood dollars” which they then use against us in the form of Shahed and ballistic missiles. If oil refineries are a tool for making money used for war, then they are a legitimate military target that needs to be destroyed,” Madyar said.

According to him, SBS units are destroying a record number of soldiers, reducing the enemy's advantage in manpower. Madyar’s crews have a direct order: to kill more invaders every month than Russia manages to mobilize – more than 30 thousand. Brovdi also noted that 30% of all drone strikes should be directed against personnel.

“You can call this a liquidation plan. And we have been exceeding it for four months in a row. Every death of a soldier must be confirmed by video, otherwise it does not count. We have no pity. Russian troops are far beyond their own borders. They were sent by Putin, who wants to destroy our nation. If we don’t kill them, they will kill us. This is obvious,” says the head of the SBS of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

At the same time, as the BBC writes, the SBS commander does not have “rose-colored glasses”; his goal is deterrence, and not preparing new counter-offensives or returning vast territories right now.

“We have effective weapons: not to wage an offensive war, but to prevent the enemy from effectively advancing through our territory. Putin cannot afford to stop the invasion because the risks of defeat are too great. Therefore, we have another goal: Russian morale. The high level of casualties, together with giant fires at facilities deep behind enemy lines, could create a “certain ferment” inside Russia. Our goal with each drone is to make more Russians doubt the war they are fighting their country, and in the president who started it,” Madyar said.

As the BBC notes, the Unmanned Systems Forces make up only 2% of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, but today they account for a third of all destroyed targets. At the same time, the level of their own losses is less than 1% per year.
