Immediately after the final whistle, FCSB fans started chanting “Serie B!” guests from Petrolul Ploiești, in the context in which the Ploiești team currently occupies the first place in the playoffs, with 23 points, tied with Farul Constanța.
Despite the defeat, Mehmet Topal had a gesture of fair play: after greeting Lucian Filip, the home team's emergency technician, he hugged his players.
The fans from Ploiești also reacted, encouraging the team: “Even if we lose, we're always here // Come on Oil.”
On the other side, from the red-blue lawn, in a lower tone compared to other seasons, the famous refrain was heard: “Ale, ale, Steaua București ale // Home or away, trample everything”.
Bîrligea, in the center of attention » The fans also asked other players to salute
FCSB supporters chanted the name of Daniel Bîrligea, injured but present in the stands. He responded to the greeting, and the fans asked other players such as Valentin Crețu, Risto Radunović and Mihai Popescu to the ramp.
At the end, on the way to the locker room, the players were mobbed by fans from Tribuna I for pictures, autographs and T-shirts.
