The Ukrainian army issued a statement
The photos did not escape the attention of the Ukrainian command, which published a long statement on this matter this morning. We learn from it that the photos were taken on the front near Kupiańsk, where the Russians are significantly hampering logistical activities in providing food and water to Ukrainian soldiers by conducting intense artillery fire and using drones to attack supply lines.
The Ukrainian staff also admitted that “the command of the 14th Independent Mechanized Brigade concealed the actual state of affairs” and made a number of errors in the supply of soldiers. However, there have already been personnel changes in the brigade, including in the position of commander, and “the new command is taking all possible actions to normalize the situation and ensure the supply of soldiers in combat positions.”
Kiev also announces comprehensive control over the supply of necessary supplies to soldiers on the front in the Kupyansk area.
