Increase in fuel prices in Poland. Experts warn against further increases

According to Reflex office 95 petrol next week (from April 27 to May 1) will cost on average PLN 6.19 per literwhich is 26 groszy more than the average price from Thursday.
A liter of 98 petrol will cost on average PLN 6.78 — 25 cents more.
Diesel oil will increase in price the most. Its price will increase by 0.39 groszy, to PLN 7.05 per liter.

Autogas will record a symbolic increase of PLN 1, to PLN 3.84 per liter.
Price drops last week
Reflex analysts pointed out that last week diesel prices in Poland dropped by an average of PLN 0.52 per liter – the highest since the entry into force of the government “CPN” package. The average price of 95-octane petrol dropped by 13 groszy per liter during this time and reached the lowest level since the beginning of the war in the Middle East.
However, experts indicate that this situation will not last. All because of events in the Middle East. They remind us here that the Strait of Hormuz remains blocked, but as a result of the ceasefire, there are no further attacks on the oil infrastructure in the region.

“At the moment, the market is preparing for a longer conflict. The question is whether the US will be able to clear mines in the Strait of Hormuz at a pace that will allow for a systematic increase in the transport of crude oil and petroleum products from the Persian Gulf region,” they added.
