Former international Gabi Balint (63 years old) said he was surprised by Mirel Rădoi's (45 years old) decision to leave FCSB after only 5 stages. The former selector of the national team of Romania decided to follow the offer from Turkey and signed with the 10th place in the first league, Gaziantep.

Balint believes that Rădoi was wrong to leave FCSB so quickly, noting that a coach can be affected in the future because of these decisions.

Gabi Balint: “The best thing for Rădoi is to stay with one team as long as possible”

“Theirs! Honestly, I expected Mirel Rădoi to finish the championship, but it seems that the people there forced him. The problem is that I'm old, I'm getting over myself in such situations. They're not fashionable anymore. I have to update myself. I don't understand these “coming”, “going” anymore (no laughs). I really don't understand!

The best thing for Rădoi, as for any coach, is to stay with a team as long as possible. In the end, someone will ask why he leaves so quickly and what happens to him”, said Gabi Balint, according to digisport.ro.

Gabi Balint: “Rădoi is one of the coaches who gave in easily when the going got tough”

“I don't want to judge him, if he's a good or bad coach, I don't even know him very well. He's still young, he has time to prove.

In Turkey, it is not so easy. Very few foreign coaches have confirmed. If that's his goal, actually getting to one of the top four teams out there, it's going to take some time.

All in all, Rădoi is one of the coaches who gave in easily when the going got tough, and that's not good. I wish him success! I hope it works, I appreciated him as a player, an OK boy“.
