In Krasnoyarsk, after a 15-year break, the Beryozka country camp will again accept children.
The head of the city, Sergei Vereshchagin, reported on his social networks that they are preparing to open one of the oldest municipal health facilities for the summer season. The Beryozka camp appeared in 1960; in 2011 it was decommissioned due to accident rates.
Last year, restoration work began on the site; some of the old buildings were demolished. There are already two equipped modular residential buildings on the site, a medical unit and a catering unit have been installed. A security perimeter, lighting, and landscaping must be completed before the launch.
“I instructed to control the schedule, resolve the issue of access and parking, so that it would be convenient for parents to come. It is planned that the children will come to the camp in the second shift – at the end of June. 120 children will be able to relax here at the same time, and the coverage for the upcoming season will be 360,” the mayor noted.
Sergei Vereshchagin also added that the camp has prospects for further development of the territory.
