The CS Câmpina club made a humanitarian appeal on social networks, for the young handball player Carina Vasile, diagnosed with sarcoma on the left thigh. An eighth-grader, she received a grim diagnosis, and will remain in Italy for surgery and treatment in the coming months.
The diagnosis received in Romania was confirmed at a clinic in Rome, and through a post on the Facebook page the club to which she is registered made an appeal, as, at such a moment, any help is extremely important for Carina.

“Today we're writing to you about one of us… and it's not about handball. Unfortunately, it's about a much more difficult situation.
Carina Vasile, eighth grade student at the “Nicolae Grigorescu” National College from Câmpina and handball player of our club, is going through the most difficult struggle of her life.
Carina is a talented athlete, top scorer in numerous tournaments, always determined and passionate about handball. A true team player, she is always with her teammates, fights to the end and brings positive energy to every match.
Today, we, her team, are making a call to you. She was diagnosed with sarcoma on the left thigh, and for treatment she went to Rome, where the diagnosis was reconfirmed. Starting Tuesday, chemotherapy will begin, followed by surgery. He will remain in Italy for the next few months for treatment and recovery.
