Last week, six Constitutional Tribunal judges elected in March took their oaths during a ceremony in the Sejm. They were submitted by two judges who had already been sworn in by President Karol Nawrocki, i.e. Dariusz Szostek and Magdalena Bentkowska, as well as four others: Krystian Markiewicz, Maciej Taborowski, Marcin Dziurda and Anna Korwin-Piotrowska. Then, at the KPRP administrative office, they handed over their written oaths to the president, and after submitting the documents, everyone went to the seat of the Constitutional Tribunal.

The President of the Constitutional Tribunal, Bogdan Święczkowski, announced on the same day that two judges who took the oath before the president took office, and as he added, the four remaining judges did not take up their positions. Markiewicz, however, said that he and three other judges submitted a letter to the president of the Constitutional Tribunal requesting that they be allowed to perform their official duties.

The pollster asked respondents whether, in their opinion, the president should formally take the oath of office from four judges of the Constitutional Tribunal, due to the situation surrounding this institution. A total of 56.6 percent respondents said yes, including 44.6 percent chose the answer “definitely yes”, and 12 percent indicated the option “probably yes”.

However, 26.2% expressed the opposite opinion. respondents: the answer “definitely not” was marked by 14.8%, and “rather not” – 11.4%. The answer “I don't know/difficult to say” was chosen by 17.2 percent. respondents.

Among voters of the ruling coalition (KO, Third Way and Left), as many as 97 percent respondents expect that the president will take the oath of office from judges of the Constitutional Tribunal – 88 percent chose the answer “definitely yes”, and 9 percent – “probably yes.” Only 3 percent respondents in this group are opposed or undecided.

More than half of opposition voters (PiS, Konfederacja, Konfederacja Korona Polskiej and Razem) believe that Nawrocki should not take the oath. The answer “definitely not” was chosen by 30 percent. respondents, and “rather not” – 24 percent. The options “definitely yes” and “rather yes” were chosen by 12 percent each. respondents, while 22 percent has no opinion on this matter.

The highest percentage of undecided voters was recorded in the group of “other voters” – as much as 41%. chose the answer “I don't know / it's hard to say”. 37% of respondents chose the option “definitely yes”, and 19%. “probably yes.” 3% have the opposite opinion. subjects.
