Borussia Dortmund is definitely out of the fight for the title, after the away defeat suffered, score 1-2, on the field of Hoffenheim, in a match of the 30th stage of the Bundesliga.
Andrej Kramaric (34), the captain and leader of the hosts, was the hero of the game. He converted two kicks from 11 meters, both dictated for goal after the intervention of the video referee. The decisive goal came in extra time.

Dortmund thus reach their second consecutive defeat and remain 12 points behind the leader Bayern Munich. The Bavarians need a single point in the match with Stuttgart to mathematically secure their 35th title in history.
Success is vital for Hoffenheim. The hosts move up to 5th place and remain in the race for Champions League qualification. At the same time, they end a negative streak of four games without a win.
Hoffenheim started the match better and put pressure from the first minutes. In the 6th minute, Tim Lemperle hit the crossbar with a spectacular execution. Afterwards, Hoffenheim had another important opportunity through Kramaric, but Gregor Kobel certainly intervened.
The scoring was opened in the 42nd minute. Niklas Sule touched the ball with his hand in the box, and referee Daniel Siebert awarded a penalty after VAR consultation. Kramaric executed without emotion. Dortmund's defender got injured at the same stage and was replaced.
The second half kept the same pace. Ozan Kabak went close to goal, but Kobel blocked. In the 87th minute, Serhou Guirassy restored parity with a shot from distance.
The final was decided by another controversial phase. Julian Ryerson committed a foul in the box, and after VAR intervention, Siebert again pointed to the penalty spot. Kramaric converted to set up the final score in the 98th minute.
Dortmund had one last chance from a free kick, but Julian Brandt sent it over the bar.
