Iuliu Mureșan, the president from CFR Clujis convinced that the technician Daniel Pancu (48 years old) will continue with the team from Gruia even after the end of this season.

The Cluj coach's contract runs until the summer, but it will be automatically extended if Pancu qualifies CFR Cluj in the preliminaries of a European competition.

Also, Iuliu Mureșan said that there may be negotiations to increase Pancu's salary at the end of this season.

Iuliu Mureșan: “Pancu said that two million percent remains at CFR Cluj”

“I don't think Pancu is leaving for Rapid. I spoke with Pancu and I get along very well with him. He expressed that two million percent remains at CFR.

The contract is automatically extended (no – under certain conditions), but the amount can also be discussed. It is negotiated, he is a very good coach. We helped each other, it's the first club where they train at this level. No one gave him a chance.

I supported Pancu in all decisions. I agree with what decisions he made. That's how decisions are in football. The troublemakers have already left. Those who were like that are gone. I collaborated with Pancu. And the boss agreed,” said Iuliu Mureșan, according to digisport.ro.

CFR CLUJ, dramatic victory against Argeș

After the dramatic victory against FC Argeș, score 1-0, CFR Cluj reached 34 points and climbed, at least temporarily, to 3rd place, below Craiova and U Cluj. Adrian Păun scored in overtime at Mioveni for Pancu's team.

The victory was important because we have some peace. If we didn't win, we were thinking about 3rd-4th place. So, we have a good tone and we are preparing, but someone has to beat U Cluj in the end. If Dinamo does not succeed, we are the last to beat them and we will prepare very well for the derby. We still have a little hope, if we didn't win we had no hope
