Orlen reduces fuel prices once again. A series of price cuts across the country

According to Orlen's latest price list, the wholesale price of Ekodiesel oil is currently PLN 6,104 per cubic meter, which means a decrease of PLN 143 compared to Friday. In turn, a cubic meter of Eurosuper 95 petrol costs PLN 5,000. PLN 252, i.e. PLN 35 less than the day before.
It is worth noting that This is the fifth reduction in the price of Ekodiesel this week. Previously, from Tuesday to Friday, the prices of this fuel dropped by PLN 155, PLN 167, PLN 52 and PLN 99 per cubic meter. Compared to Saturday a week ago, the wholesale price of Ekodiesel is PLN 616 lower.
Price regulations and their impact on the market
Since March 31, the government regulation package “Fuel Prices Lower” has been in force in Poland, which introduced maximum fuel prices at stations. This mechanism is based on the average wholesale price, plus excise duty, fuel surcharge, a margin of PLN 0.30 per liter and VAT.

According to the announcement of the Ministry of Energy, from Saturday to Monday inclusive, the maximum price of a liter of Eurosuper 95 petrol is PLN 6.03, Eurosuper 98 petrol – PLN 6.57 and diesel – PLN 7.07.
Compared to Friday, these prices dropped by PLN 1, PLN 2 and PLN 11, respectively.
The Ministry of Energy emphasizes that price regulations bring tangible benefits. As estimated, Poles have already saved PLN 3 billion thanks to the introduction of the “Lower Fuel Prices” package..

– This is not only a saving for drivers, but also an element that stabilizes inflation, which influences prices in other sectors of the economy – said the Minister of Energy, Miłosz Motyka, on Friday.
