Drones attacked another oil refinery in Russia


The video and photo show a large plume of smoke from the fire. Previously, the plant's tank farm is on fire.

The channel notes that this refinery receives crude oil from Western Siberia through the Transneft trunk pipeline system. The tank farm acts as a buffer – both raw materials and finished products are stored there before shipment.

The key export hub is the Novorossiysk port, through which a significant part of supplies to foreign markets passes.

Context

Since the beginning of 2024, Ukraine has intensified attacks on Russian oil and gas infrastructure. President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky noted that Ukraine is forced to answerdelivering strikes in response to Russian air attacks on Ukrainian energy facilities.
