Record prizes this year at Roland Garros: how much the winners get

Roland Garros organizers have announced a 9.5% increase in prize money for the 2026 edition compared to last year. In total, 61.7 million euros will be allocated to the Paris Grand Slam tournament.
It is an increase of approximately 5 million euros compared to the 2025 edition. The winners of the women's and men's singles will receive 2.8 million euros each.
Roland Garros has increased its prize money for the 2026 edition
Last year, the two champions, Carlos Alcaraz and Coco Gauff, collected 2.5 million euros each.
The lowest prize, for players who are eliminated in the first round of the qualifiers, amounts to 24,000 euros. A presence on the main draw ensures athletes €87,000, should they be eliminated in the first round.
For those who pass 3 rounds on the main draw, 187,000 euros are up for grabs. The players who are eliminated in the semi-finals have secured an amount of 750,000 euros.
The winners of the two singles finals will be rewarded with 2.8 million euros, those who lose in the final will receive 1.4 million euros from the organizers of Roland Garros.
The total prize fund for this year's edition of Roland-Garros amounts to 61.723 million euros, an increase of 9.53% compared to last year. The tournament has decided to continue supporting qualifying rounds to help players who need it most to fund their season and maintain their structure.
The prize pool for qualifications was increased by 12.9%. Prizes for the main draw increased by 10.1% compared to 2025. A particular effort was made for the first three rounds of the singles draw, with an increase between 11.11% and 11.54%.
The tournament also wanted to offer higher prize money for all other main draw rounds, with an increase of between 6.82% and 9.80% compared to 2025. As for the prize money for the doubles events (women's, men's and mixed), they increased by 3.90% compared to last year.
