Rescuers pulled the unconscious child out from under the rubble. Despite resuscitation measures, doctors declared death.
The press service of the Kyiv region police clarified that the tragedy occurred on the evening of April 16. According to preliminary data, three children aged 11, 12 and 13 years old were in the area with a sand embankment and were digging tunnels. At a certain point, a ground collapse occurred, as a result of which the 11-year-old boy fell asleep.
Currently, law enforcement officers are establishing all the circumstances of the incident and conducting a pre-trial investigation.
