Iuliu Mureșan, the president of CFR Cluj, spoke about the future of Daniel Pancu, the coach of the team from Gruia, just before the duel with FC Argeș, match in stage #5 of the Superliga play-off.
Lately it was circulated that the technician would leave Cluj, but Iuliu Mureșan conveyed the fact that Daniel Pancu spoke with the owner Ioan Varga and he is more than convinced to stay at CFR next season.

The speculations started after Daniel Pancu declared at GSP Live that he will leave CFR Cluj if the team led by Ioan Varga fails to obtain the European license. The coach also has a clause to this effect in his contract. The contract between Pancu and CFR is extended immediately, if the “railwaymen” access the European cups.
Daniel Pancu managed to raise the level of those from CFR Cluj this season. At the time he arrived in Gruia, the team that is now in the play-offs was doing its best in the relegation zone.
