President of the National Bank of Poland, prof. Adam Glapiński, participates in the meeting of finance ministers and heads of central banks of the G20 countries. The deliberations are held in Washington as part of the spring meetings of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank.

“We have entered the G20, an exclusive club of the 20 most powerful economies in the world. According to nominal GDP, Poland is among these countries. This position must be maintained and strengthened. We must be an even stronger economy, sit at the main table,” said President Glapiński, quoted in the NBP release.
