In Achinsk, police officers detained a man who beat a 13-year-old boy with a metal shoehorn. Official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation Irina Volk reported this on her Telegram channel.
Law enforcement officers began searching for the attacker after the duty station received signals from a medical facility and from the mother of the injured teenager. The identity of the aggressor was established; he turned out to be a 53-year-old Achin resident previously convicted of theft and causing grievous bodily harm through negligence.

The man explained his action by saying that the teenagers were making noise in the entrance. He went out to drive them away, grabbing a shoehorn. Seeing the aggressor, the guys immediately ran out into the street, but one of them was unable to escape the man’s anger. The guy was hit several times with a metal object and was forced to go to the hospital.
Currently, the police are working with the detainee, all the circumstances of the incident are being established. The preliminary investigation into the previously initiated criminal case continues.
