In the city of Belovo, Kemerovo region, residents encounter many large hairy spiders every day. They run around yards and garages, sit on verandas and crawl into apartments, hiding in the curtains.
Local authorities say that the number of South Russian tarantulas in the region is at normal levels and there is nothing to worry about.
