The educational buildings and dormitories of the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technology and the National Technical University “Dnepr Polytechnic” were damaged.
In addition, Russian shelling hit about 30 residential buildings, about 1 thousand windows were broken there, the mayor said.
“Not a single military target. Exclusively the houses of Dnieper residents and objects related to the cultural heritage and being the scientific base of the city,” Filatov wrote, recalling that the city has declared mourning for the five victims of yesterday’s shelling.
The State Emergency Service spoke about fires at the arrival site. Rescuers showed photos and videos of the consequences of the attack.
