In Achinsk, police detained a large supplier of “synthetics”.
According to the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Krasnoyarsk Territory, on the federal highway R-255 “Siberia” law enforcement officers stopped a Honda Legend car driven by a local resident. During the search, a polymer bag containing a light-colored powdery substance was found and seized in the man’s winter glove in the car. Later, an examination established that it was mephedrone weighing over 120 grams.

“The attacker tried to play tricks to avoid criminal prosecution. However, the operatives had enough information proving the involvement of the Achin resident in the sale of synthetic drugs in the Achinsk District. When the man realized that his criminal business was no longer so secret to the police, he admitted that he had raised a wholesale stash in Krasnoyarsk,” the regional police clarified.
A criminal case has been initiated against the man under Part 4 of Art. 228.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Sale of narcotic drugs on a large scale.” He faces up to 20 years in prison. At the request of investigators, he was taken into custody.
