On Wednesday, the Supreme Administrative Court dismissed the complaints of the Prime Minister's office against the judgments of the Provincial Administrative Court in Warsaw, in which the Provincial Administrative Court overturned the decision to withdraw the current head of the National Security Bureau, Sławomir Cenckiewicz, from security clearances regarding access to classified information.

The decision was announced in a message posted on the NSA website. It was emphasized that the case was heard at a closed session, and due to sensitive information contained in the justification of the judgment, it will not be made publicly available by the Supreme Administrative Court.
Wednesday's verdict is related to the decision of the head of the Military Counterintelligence Service, General Jarosław Stróżyk, from July 2024 to withdraw Cenckiewicz's security clearances required to access classified information. The body of the second instance, i.e. the Prime Minister, upheld the decisions of the head of the Military Counterintelligence Service.
In November 2024, Cenckiewicz appealed against this decision to the Provincial Administrative Court in Warsaw, which on June 17 last year. he overturned it.
In August 2025, the spokesman for the coordinator of the special services, Jacek Dobrzyński, announced that the Chancellery of the Prime Minister had filed cassation appeals to the Supreme Administrative Court against the Provincial Administrative Court's judgments of June 2025. Dobrzyński then said that he did not agree with the arguments presented in the justification of the Provincial Administrative Court's judgment. (PAP)
