A real war between the Scarlet and White Orchids played out in a Moscow court
The plaintiff brought flowers to clearly demonstrate how vilely she was deceived.
Last July, a Muscovite agreed to purchase a rare variety of orchids “Patrick” and another inexpensive variety “Leopard” via the Internet. The woman transferred 15,000 rubles plus 400 rubles for delivery.
“Patrick” came first, but when the flower bloomed, there was no limit to the indignation. The sneaky “Patrick” turned out to be an unnecessary cheap variety of “Cherry Boom”.
The angry orchid lover refused Leopard and demanded a refund for the entire order.
The case went to court. An angry woman brought orchids to the Temple of Themis to clearly explain why “Patrick” is better than “Cherry Boom”.
The judge partially admitted that the plaintiff was right. And although at that time the seller returned the money for the canceled order for “Leopards”, she will have to pay interest (4,500 rubles), since the return did not take place immediately, but six months later.
