A motorist drove along the sidewalk in the center of Krasnoyarsk for the sake of likes (video)

In Krasnoyarsk, state traffic inspectors brought administrative charges against a young driver who drove along the sidewalk on Mira Avenue.
The violation was detected thanks to monitoring Internet – a video published online shows how a tinted Lada Priora car moves along the pedestrian area.
“The police quickly identified the driver – he turned out to be a 19-year-old local resident. During the conversation, the young man admitted that he had grossly violated traffic rules deliberately in order to take photos and videos for publication on social networks, counting on increasing popularity and collecting a large number of likes. The driver apologized to Krasnoyarsk residents for his action,” the traffic police said.
For driving on the sidewalk, a report was drawn up against a motorist under Part 2 of Article 12.15 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation, the sanction of which includes a fine of 2,000 rubles.
