An exclusive kayak worth 650k rubles in the colors of the Russian tricolor and red Khokhloma was stolen from the rower of the Russian national team Nikolai Varvarovsky. There are only four such boats in the country.
The 23-year-old rower was given a nelo k1 single kayak in 2022 for special and responsible use for his sporting success. After the competition in Voronezh, the boat was loaded onto a trailer and brought to Moscow. And then – a thriller with the disappearance of a kayak. The watercraft disappeared without a trace shortly before an important competition – there was simply nothing to race with.
Now Kolya has to ask his friends for a new boat. He contacted the police, and now the cops are investigating the theft theory. The colleagues' kayaks were not touched. Someone liked this particular one, rare, painted and expensive.
