A Ukrainian stabbed and dismembered a 46-year-old Russian woman in Peru. She left behind two children. The man was detained by police on the night from Thursday to Friday.
According to investigators, on August 8, 38-year-old Ivan Kuzmin, together with Lucia Lazarenko, went to see the El Sauce lagoon in the center of Tarapoto. After the trip, the couple returned to the center where they lived during the retreat.
At some point, the patients heard the woman’s screams and called the staff, who then called the police. As soon as law enforcement officers managed to open the door to Kuzmin’s room, Lucia was no longer alive.
They tried to detain the man; he began to scream, bite, grabbed a knife and threatened suicide. Later, during a search of the room, the police found a pipe for illicit use.
