FCSB – Oțelul Galati 4-0. Stjepan Tomas (50), the coach of the visitors, gave the first reaction after the drastic failure tonight. The Croatian was extremely unhappy with what happened in the first half.

Things got better in the second act, when Oțelul didn't concede any more goals, this is the aspect that the coach of the Galatasarays is attached to.

Stjepan Tomas, statements after FCSB – Steel 4-0: “I told them to show character”

“We had to have more aggression, personality in the game. We didn't win duels, we gave gifts, we let them score, they wanted to play and they scored. We had to be more careful, if you are not aggressive in such matches you are punished.

I made three changes at half-time, I tried to come up with something new, the players came on as they should in the second half.

(What does a coach say in this situation?) I told them to play, to show character, that's important, they showed, something changed, it was better than in the first half.

It is very important, in the last match we played well against Hermannstadt, we thought we are good, we have to be focused in the next match, have a different mentality.

We had no spirit, no mentality, no aggression in the first half. We conceded goals easily, they scored, that saddened me, the way we conceded the goals,” Stjepan Tomas told Digi Sport.

Oțelul Galati is in 10th place at the moment, with 24 points. Gălățenii have 5 points against Unirea Slobozia, the occupier of the first playoff spot. For Tomas' team, the duel at home with UTA Arad follows on April 17.
