The latest entry by the US president is another one in which Trump refers to the situation in the Middle East and the oil market. He previously reported, among other things, that “the Iranians seem not to realize that they have no cards beyond short-term extortion on the world through the use of international waterways“.
He also expressed his opinion on the fees Iranians charge for sailing through the Strait of Hormuz.

The Strait of Hormuz remains blocked
Despite all these posts, the situation in the Middle East remains unchanged. According to data from the Marine Traffic website, compiled by the BBC, since When the ceasefire was concluded on the night from Tuesday to Wednesday, Iran allowed 19 ships to pass through the strait, most of which were container ships and only four were tankers.. Iran on Tuesday said it would allow ships to navigate through the strait “in coordination with Iran's armed forces.”
Before the war, over a hundred ships passed through the strait a day. It is estimated that approximately 800 are still waiting to leave the Persian Gulf.
